Every second year we are invited to travel over to Mauves to enjoy a weekend with our friends. There is only a small amount of formality leaving plenty of time to be with them and enjoy the activities and sights in the area around Mauves, Nantes and the Lower Loire Valley. On all visits accommodation is provided in their members’ homes as a friend of the family.

Visits to Hythe & Dibden by our friends from Mauves

We received visits from our friends from Mauves every other year, alternating with our visits to them. This year, over the late May Bank holiday, we were joined by over 30 visitors.

On visits to Hythe & Dibden, English members either hosts an individual or family in their home or supports other hosts by helping out. We normally programme a whole day out for both groups; usually by coach leaving the second day for personal visits etc. We also enjoy a social evening and meal together.

We also have Group Visits to France.
Recently we have had Group visits to Lille and Rouen and we are planning further visits.
